- 真菌やバクテリアに含まれるある種の分子は、波長365nmの光の励起によって異なる色の蛍光を発することができるため、紫外線はペットの皮膚病検出に広く利用されている。励起光の色によって、細菌や真菌の種類や感染の程度を迅速に検出することができます。
